Heroes may choose to have an attack miss them if they allow an item they are carrying to burn away to nothing (if multiple small things occupy one inventory slot, they all burn).

Undead: Unliving, Undying.

The first time you die, reset to 1 HP instead (excluding minions).

Hellish Existence.

You are always Smoldering and vulnerable to fire. If someone else takes damage during their turn, they become Smoldering.

    Burst: 4. Only against Smoldering. On hit: Remove Smoldering.

Spooked: Deals 1 damage at the end of your turn. This ends the condition.

Ice Mages: Ice Infused Strikes.

A hero may choose to make one of your attacks miss by having their movement speed reduced by 1 until they complete a Safe Rest.

Undead: Unliving, Undying.

When dealt Bludgeoning damage: adjacent creatures are Slowed (as they dance to your BONE MUSIC).

On death: deal 10 damage to ALL creatures within Reach 6, making BONE MUSIC!

    1d10+5 Bludgeoning (can target self). Then:

  • Danse Macabre.

    Create two (dancing) skeleton minions (size: 1d10).

Trigger: Revenant dies. Response: Revives 24 hours later, random location, different appearance, and full HP.

  • SUFFOCATE (x2).(Reach 2) Necrotic.

    Grappled (DC 16, 2 creatures max).

  • HAUNTING GLARE.

    (Recharge 2-in-6) DC 15 WIL save: Aura 6. Failure: Incapacitated, repeat on turn start.

Uncommon Tool

An old rusty shovel that has an unsettling smell that never seems to go away. When touching the ground, the blade of the shovel hums when within a kilometer of a fresh corpse.

The volume of the humming grows louder the closer the shovel gets to the corpse, and the pitch varies depending on the type of death: from a low rumble for a natural death to a piercing screech for a particularly violent death.
