Any creature reduced to 0 hit points while within 12 spaces of the well will have it's soul drawn in and trapped there.

Each turn a 1d4 Specter minion appears at a random space on the room's perimeter. All Specters in the same room as the well move towards it in a straight line. They will attack any creature in their path before passing through them.
No haunting or resurrection had been reported in the city of Terrace in centuries.
