Perfect Counter. You give up your Sneak Attack and Vicious Opportunist, as they were disgraceful. In their place, you learn Perfect Counter, letting you confront foes face-to-face: Whenever you Defend, add +1d6 to your Armor. Upon blocking all the damage from a melee attack, attackers become Incapacitated until the beginning of their next turn. (Your Perfect Counter die is equal to what your Sneak Attack would be).

Ready the Blade. (Replaces Twist the Blade) Action: Change one of your Perfect Counter dice to whatever you like for the next time you Defend.

Ultimate Parry. (Replaces Supreme Execution) +1 to any 2 of your stats. When defending, you no longer need to block all damage for melee attackers to become Incapacitated.

Seals of Honor. Your new ways reject deceit. For every Underhanded Ability you would have, choose one Seal of Honor instead.

  • Seal of Pride. Action: Taunt an enemy until the end of their next turn. You may add your INT to your Armor when Defending against taunted attackers.
  • Seal of Valor. Whenever you would Defend, you may roll a melee attack; you MUST use the result as your base Armor instead.
  • Seal of Deflection. When you fully block a ranged attack, you may redirect that amount of damage + INT back to the attacker.
  • Seal of Prevention. The next time you Defend after using Ready the Blade, you may do so for free.
  • Seal of Inertia. Once per turn, whenever you crit or kill an enemy, regain 1 action.
  • Seal of Relocation. After Defending, you may move up to your INT ignoring Difficult Terrain.
  • Seal of Confidence. Every round you go without taking damage, you gain 1 stack of advantage on all your attack rolls up to a max total equal to your INT.
  • Seal of Dominance. On crit, you may make your target fall Prone.
  • Seal of Indemnity. When you fully block an attack, the next time you are attacked this round, you may Defend for free using the same value for your total Armor.
  • Seal of Retribution. (1/round) Add +INT d4 damage to a melee attack against an Incapacitated creature.

Level 3

Sweeping Slash.

2 actions: Roll a melee attack and teleport to the end of a Line of a number of spaces equal to your DEX. Every enemy on that Line takes the damage from the attack.

Level 7

Unsheathed Strike.

Using Ready the Blade lets you add the changed Perfect Counter die to your next attack as well.

Level 11

Decisive Defense.

(1/encounter) Fully block an attack regardless of its damage.

Level 15

Stance Breaker.

Enemies Incapacitated by your Perfect Counter are now Incapacitated until the END of their next turn, instead.
