Onwards to victory

You are an emissary of war and your Spirit is an instrument of destruction, taking the form of your weapon of choice. In combat you are comfortable with fighting in the frontline, smiting enemies with your weapons and supporting your allies in equal measure.

Level 3

Battleborn.

You are baptised in the thick of battle and you never shy from combat.

  • You add your WIL to your armour
  • Your weapons or shield act as your spellcasting focus

Level 7

Spiritual Weapon.

Your Spirit merges with one of your melee weapons as a free action and remains merged for a number of WIL rounds per encounter.

While merged, your Spirit's reach is the same as yours. The first melee attack each round always crits and the opponent falls prone on a failed STR save.

Level 11

Divine Intervention.

Your Spirit is always ready to protect you and your allies.

As a reaction, when you or an ally within your Spirit's range receives damage, you can spend one of your Spirit's healing charges to reduce incoming damage by that amount.

Level 15

Spiritual Perfection.

Your bond with your Spirit strengthens and your Spiritual Weapon ability provides the following benefits:

  • Once per round, when an opponent damages you in melee, as a reaction you can make an attack of opportunity without disadvantage
  • When you kill an enemy with a melee strike you Spirit gains one healing charge if it doesn't have all its charges
