    When a Skeletal Warrior is destroyed, the remaining necrotic energy flashes out. Each Hero adjacent to the Minion must make a DC 10 STR Save or be knocked back 5 ft.

Only use 2 to 3 minions with Malak Encounter. Each minion only has 1 HP but can be protected by "Bind Soul"

Tactical Shielding: Malak uses his Command Undead ability to let them attack on his turn. Their purpose is to use the terrain to block Hero movement and force players to spend their valuable 3 actions clearing the Minions out before they can focus on the Necromancer.

Simple Management: The GM only needs to track a handful of Minions. A single point of damage takes them off the board instantly, speeding up play considerably.
