Resistant, but Vulnerable.

Resistance to Cold, Lightning, Necrotic, and non-magical weapons. Immune to Charmed, Frightened, Paralyzed, Poison(ed). Vulnerable to Radiant.

Shadow Shield.

Bavar has a 30 HP barrier that prevents light and Radiant damage from affecting him. Each time the barrier is dropped to 0 HP, it breaks into 1/Hero Shadow minions (d6). It regains all HP at the start of each Round.

Shadow Hand.

At the start of each Round, a giant hand rearranges the pillars of shadow.

After each Hero's turn, choose one.
  • DOOM.

    (Range 12, target has full HP) DC16 WIL save or 5d6+20 damage, half on save.

  • Ghastly Touch.

    Move 6, then 4d6. Bavar regains HP equal to half dealt.

  • Warping Ray.

    (Range 12) 4d6, Dazed. Switch places with target.

  • Fearful Eye.

    (Range 6) DC16 WIL save or 2d6, Dazed, and Frightened. Then Teleport to a pillar of shadow.

BLOODIED:

At 190 HP, Bavar becomes Large and transforms into Bavar, the Magnificent! and corrupts the stage floor. All creatures on the stage floor need to make a DC16 STR save or take 3d6 Necrotic damage, repeating the save whenever it ends its turn on the stage floor. Any die can Crit with Ghastly Touch and he gains Laser Ray.

Laser Ray. (1/Round, up to any 5 targets) 2d6.

LAST STAND:

Bavar's faltering! 120 more damage and he dies? Bavar destroys one pillar at the start of each round, causing any creature on it to take FALL damage (small=1d6, large=3d6).

Disintegration. After taking 60 damage during Last Stand, choose one Hero. They must make a DC16 DEX save or take 10d6+40 Force damage. If they are reduced to 0 HP, they are disintegrated into dust, only leaving behind any magic items.

Undying. When he reaches 0 HP, he instead resets to 1 HP once. He then casts Wish through a scroll, requesting to "gain the greatest power in this reality!"

Bavar has Truesight and Heroes trying to Hide from him using cover need to succeed on a DC16 Stealth check. Description of the map related to the stage floor, pillars, and shadow pit goes here.

Changelog from Original: Adjusted damage values to all reflect a LVL 12 solo and for all of them to be d6 based. Adjusted all DCs to 16 to reflect a LVL 12 solo. Changed Ranges to all be either 6 or 12.
