Sanity's Utility Items
A collection of items designed to replace common utility spells with flavorful and interesting limited use items. Also includes my take on some common magic utility items.
Fly Speed 10.
Riding a Broom of Flying requires concentration or special training.
Walpurgis Night: Needs to be recharged once per year by dancing a full night around a bonfire.
Apply to weapon: 1 action.
On Crit: Incapacitated (any damage or 1 action from an ally to end).
On Damage: Dazed.
On Miss: You are Dazed.
(Might not work against some enemies or against the same enemy multiple times in a row)
Makes a creature or object invisible for 1 scene.
Gives off a strong minty smell.
You gain advantage on skill checks while playing any dice games.
The Cheat only: You can instead change the roll to whatever you like.
Don't get caught with those.
1 charge: Spend 1 action to succeed on a failed roll.
Recharge - Pay it forward: Pass the coin on to a stranger.
This old worn coin gives you a feeling of warmth and safety.
Holding on to an uncharged coin is rumored to be a magnet for bad luck.
When filled with a handwritten letter and tossed into a river or ocean the bottle will somehow find its way to the recipient after a while (a few days or weeks depending on the distance).
Temporarily reinforces the area to be as durable as a stone wall (doors also become locked).
1 Use is enough to cover a door sized area.

While worn, you are transformed into a medium sized human.

A handful of this sand can be sprinkled over an ancient object to reveal how it looked in the past. The illusion lasts only a brief period.
1 Charge: Concentration up to 1 hour: Scry the body of water where the See-Shell was last recharged.
Recharge: Place into a body of water for 1 hour.
(3x3 area in Range 6) the area provides cover against ranged attacks for 1 round.
Shines bright light like a torch when activated.
Recharge: Needs to be placed in sunlight from sunrise to sunset.
