When the Nine-Tailed Shadow Lord falls, its Shadow Stone shatters. Most of its power fades into the world, but a single fragment seeks a worthy bearer. If accepted, a small fox made of living shadow emerges from the fragment and permanently bonds to its new master.

The Shadow Companion always remains within 1 square of you, moving with your shadow. It cannot attack, be targeted, or be harmed. It is intelligent and loyal.

Shadow Interpose (Once per Encounter)

When you used the defend action, the fox leaps between the attacker and you, reducing the damage you take by 10.

Shadow Bite (Once per Encounter)

The fox lashes out from your shadow, giving you the help action

Shadow Scout (Once per day)

Your shadow extends up to 12 squares. The fox can slip into tiny cracks, beneath doors, or around corners while remaining connected to your shadow. Whenever it leaves your line of sight, you may see and hear through its senses until it returns.
